JC Grand's Kangshan facility started operation in 1989, about 10 years after the company was formed. The factory has extensive cold-forming and heat treatment capability for most types of small screw forms including: self-drilling, self-tapping, sheet metal, specialty wood, chipboard, drywall and machine screws. Productive capacity is currently around 800 metric tons per month.
JC Grand's product development and engineering staff are headquartered at the Kangshan facility as well. The QC laboratory is capable of all types of fastener property characterization. In the 1st quarter of 2007, the laboratory at Kangshan underwent an extensive redesign in preparation for ISO 17025 compliance and A2LA accreditation. All A2LA criteria was satisfied in October 2007.
